China’s Fire Safety Regulations – Compliance with New Policies

July 27, Tuesday, 18:00-20:00. Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel
AmCham Shanghai’s Design and Construction Committee invites you to a seminar on Tuesday, July 27 at the Renaissance Zhongshan Park that focuses on China’s fire safety regulations. Last year, China’s Fire Safety Law was amended and a number of major changes were made, including the process of government approval for a project.

This program will focus on:

  • How the new Fire Safety Law impacts the fire protection practice among all stakeholders
  • How overseas loss prevention practices compare with local Chinese practices
  • The application of Chinese codes versus international codes for multinational companies doing projects in China.

This event is co-sponsored by the China Fire Protection Association, and promises to be an excellent opportunity to interact with a wide variety of professionals, including government officials responsible for fire safety regulations. Panelists will share thoughts on the challenges facing the implemention of the new fire code regulations and how facility owners, designers and project managers should best be prepared to comply with the new regulations.

About the Panelists:
