EU-China environmental project
Long-Term Junior expert (minimum of 550 working days)
In addition to the short-term experts, one long-term, junior expert shall
be provided for a position as “Visibility and Communication expert”.
The position is preferably full time. Should this not be the case, the number
working days will have to be justified in the Organisation & Methodology. In
any event, a minimum of 550 working days shall be foreseen, representing
a part-time position covering the whole duration of the project and ensuring
presence is evenly distributed through the project life.
An indicative profile of this expert is given below. Please note that this expert
will not be part of the tender evaluation but his/her recruitment will be subject
to the approval of the EU.
Qualifications and skills
•
University or equivalent degree of at least three years in a relevant
discipline.
•
Capability in problem analysis, message development, awareness
campaign design, implementation and evaluation, population surveys.
•
Proven ability to network and a wide range of contacts among various
media.
•
Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
•
Familiarity with EC procedures and reporting requirements an asset.
•
Creativity, resourcefulness and efficiency in work.
•
Computer literacy.
General professional experience
•
5 years of relevant professional experience
•
Experience with capacity and institutional development an asset.
•
Substantial experience in environmental communication an asset.
•
Demonstrated ability in leadership and management
Specific professional experience
•
Experience in public bodies or international organisations an asset
•
Experience in mass media design and production
•
Experience in environmental public awareness campaigns
•
Specific development experience in China an asset.
