With all the news about BP’s mistakes and disruptions to our environment what better time to be thinking about how we get away from BP and other companies and start using more Clean Energy.
The NYTimes ran a piece (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/18/business/global/18yuan.html?hp) talking about China’s push and lead in this important area.
‘Mr. Li said on Thursday that while China might be further along than the United States in drafting energy legislation, and might have a large and growing sector for the manufacture of renewable energy, it still needed American technology to improve its equipment.’
“We need international cooperation,” he said. “America should be the leader.”
Hopefully countries, organizations, and companies come together and are able to push us to new levels.
